Who would’ve thought that this day would come?
The majority of the Spider-Man films are finally arriving on Disney Plus on June 17, 2022. This includes Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Spider-Man 1, Spider-Man 2, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
However, the availability of the titles varies per territory or region. For instance, the aforementioned titles are available in Disney Plus UK only. Aside from the specified Spider-Man films, Disney Plus Hotstar in Indonesia is also getting Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Venom.
On the other hand, Disney Plus Japan is getting Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Far From Home instead of Venom. The case is different for Disney Plus Hong Kong because they will only be getting Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Venom.
It is important to take note that the availability of the titles in certain countries is determined by the existing license of the film in the said country.
It’s just a matter of time until all of the Spider-Man films, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, become available on the streaming service.
Disney Plus is the home of many Marvel films and series. It’s definitely a reward to see most Marvel titles in one place. Hopefully, it becomes complete someday.
