PLUNGE: 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒉𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚

The Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers – Mapúa University Student Chapter (PSSE-MUSC) will celebrate the World Water Day through a three-day event series from March 22, 2022 to March 26, 2022 via Zoom.

The three-day event entitled “PLUNGE: 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒉𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 (𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍)” will discuss the process and methods of a water distribution system present in plants, to provide a glimpse and have an in-depth understanding of the water treatment process, and to obtain an idea on how treatment plants work in order to supply clean water. The event itinerary is as follows:

Furthermore, registered participants will receive giveaway package containing a physical certificate of participation, alcohol bottle, notepad, and PSSE-MUSC Chibi Sticker.

The event will also be the avenue for a Project Pitch competition, which will serve as the culminating event series where the participants will be given a chance to champion the importance of water through an elevator pitch. The chosen team/s may receive up to Php 15,000 funding to execute the project with the help of the PSSE-MUSC. Registered participants for the event are also eligible to win cash prizes and vouchers to other activities and raffles that will be conducted.
