The 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards returned on Sunday, June 5, with Hollywood’s biggest names competing for Golden Popcorn trophies. The event was hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, a previous nominee for “High School Musical 3” (2008) and “Spring Breakers” (2012), along with the former star of “The Bachelorette,” Tayshia Adams.
Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Rodrigo, Chrishell Stause, and Sydney Sweeney were among the celebrities that walked the red carpet at the film awards event wearing plunging costumes that highlighted their best features.
Among the night's other significant victories was Spider-Man: No Way Home, winning Best Movie. Not only that, but Spider-Man stars Tom Holland and Zendaya brought home awards for Best Performance in a Movie and Best Performance in a Show, respectively. Furthermore, Ryan Reynolds received the award for outstanding humorous performance for Free Guy.
One of the most exciting awards of the evening went to Poopies and the snake from Jackass Forever for Best Kiss. Following the announcement of the award, a python was brought out and kissed onstage.
