The long wait is finally over. The world's award-winning Korean Drama of the year Squid Game will finally air the much anticipated and awaited Season 2 after Netflix released its official video trailer last Tuesday.
With the coming of the new season of "Squid Game" which was also confirmed by the award-winning director, Hwang Dong-Hyung, questions began to rise.
“Who will be the new players in the league?”
“Who will make a comeback?”
“What awaits the fans in the new season?”
“When will the new season air?”
According to the director of Squid Game, some familiar faces will return in the second season. This includes Gi-Hun and The Frontman of the league. Cheol-su was also said to be introduced who is the boyfriend of Young-Hee, the killer doll.
However, fans are left without an answer whether the man in the suit with Ddakji will be back. Whatever the answer is, what’s important is that there will no longer be a cliffhanger as the second season is about to arrive. It will just take some time.
Dong-hyuk, thanked the fans for supporting and loving Netflix's most-viewed Korean Drama series.
“It took 12 years to bring the first season of ‘Squid Game’ to life last year. But it took 12 days for ‘Squid Game’ to become the most popular Netflix series ever,” he wrote in a message.
Though Squid Game was on its first season during that time, the K-Drama never failed the world of its content. The K-Drama really trended not just in Korea but worldwide.
