DC FanDome greeted fans once again as it returned this year with an exciting set of trailers, announcements, and updates all about the DC Universe.
Last October 16, DC held its free global virtual fan meeting event that featured a live webcast offering new information on all DC content, including new games, movies, comics, TV shows, and more.
Among the biggest highlights of this showcase were the trailers for The Batman, The Flash, The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Black Adam, Peacemaker, Gotham Knights, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
In case you missed it, here are some quick recaps to keep you on track.
The Batman
Directed by Matt Reeves, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, the film is definitely much-awaited. The film also hints fans at Batman’s new ally, James Gordon, played by Jeffrey Wright. The Batman is set to premiere on March 4, 2022.
The Flash
As speed as lighting, Ezra Miller excites fans as he arrives at the set of the film, the film hinting at his return as the Central City speedster. Big questions lie ahead of this film as to which era of Batman that Flash is visiting and what version of the Batmobile he will uncover. The teaser also showed the hero working with an alternate version of himself and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti.
The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
The new Suicide Squad trailer offers fans a fresh look at Rocksteady Studios’ take on Green Lantern, The Flash, and Wonder Woman. The trailer also features an easter egg that commemorates the origins of the comic book characters of Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark. No premiere date was yet set for this film.
Black Adam

Gotham Knights

The story trailer hints more footage of Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood alongside a further glimpse at Gotham’s deadly secret society, The Court of Owls.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Asher Angel and Zachary Levi gave a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes of the sequel of the 2019 film Shazam! It reveals the Shazm family in action with the superhero himself facing greater evil in the characters of Helen Mirren’s Hespera and Lucy Liu’s Kalypso. More exotic sets and bigger actions await fans.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
The Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, took the fans into exclusive behind-the-scenes records of the set of the upcoming film. A spectacle awaits fans as Director James Wan lets the story embrace greater fantasy. The film is set to be released on December 16, 2022.
